Just Say No to the Mermaid!!

There was one actress last night who looked like a movie star at The Emmy Awards, Gwyneth Paltrow.  She stood out in a sea of mermaid gowns in a Peter Dundas for Pucci black sheer ensemble with a bare midriff. 

It is time to stop the Mermaid Madness.  It is time to Just Say No to yet another mermaid gown on the red carpet. Marc Jacobs said he could not bear to look at another mermaid gown on the red carpet and I say ditto.  There are so many beautiful gowns, new and vintage, to choose from, that it is time to send the mermaid silhouette out to sea...
