Armani Privé Couture Fall 2014: Nouvelle Vague

I am going to start Armani Privé with the hair which I loved and will be attempting asap...

and then, kind of to my surprise, I loved the clothes too and the odd little gloves that look like they are made of latex.  There was a vaguely Nouvelle Vague feel to the whole collection: sort of youth oriented with an experimentation of form (which was vaguely Japanese).  Some very amazing pieces that you would have forever in your closet...

The gloves:

Couture meet Origami:

Couture goes off the grid:

DrFabricstein experiments (wonder if it is soft?):

Off theme but my heart belongs to any Daddy who brings me feathers:

Couture goes vaguely crazy and throws some crystals on the craziness and I love it!

Couture does my children's science class galaxy project:

Couture gets caught in a net and it looks beautiful:

Couture wraps women in wine bottle net protect and it looks beautiful too:

Chanel Couture Fall 2014: Head in the Clouds

Chanel fall 2014 couture was like laying down in the grass on a beautiful day and watching the clouds roll by in the sky - but instead of clouds it was the shapes of dreamy evening dresses...

looks like blue skies ahead...

every cloud has a silver lining

and it looks like stormy weather (I love, love, love this dress - and so perfect with the flat sandal)

watching the clouds roll by...

look at the work on this jacket and the little hat

and hello!  a cross body bag!  Kudos to Karl!  This is brilliant - and beautiful!

Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2014 Couture: Going Somewhere

If I was going somewhere, and I am not quite certain where somewhere is, I would wear Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2014 couture.  Couture for those with an active fantasy life...

I'm a spy and probably smoke cigarettes:

and obviously, if I am a spy, I am Mata Hari:

I'm Nora Charles, meeting Nick for Martinis:

I'm a naughty, very well paid, maid:

I'm a fraulein and a femme fatale

love, kisses and let's go meet Nick for a martini, Juliana

Schiaparelli Fall 2014 Couture: That Rat!

If money were no object, I know EXACTLY what I would wear to next year's Met Gala: Look 16 from Marco Zanini for Schiaparelli

It is amusing and different and a nice nod to Elsa Schiaparelli with the monkey fur bolero and the rats and squirrels gown.

I thought the whole collection was moving in a good direction and there were some beautiful pieces, like this black beaded dress (minus the fur)

and this sweater is amazing

these greens are pretty fab and especially with the leopard booties, the fur sleeves might be a tad too, too...

for a serious femme fatale moment and I love the hat!

and I kind of love these two gowns too and the crocheted beanie/snood is super wearable

love, kisses and Zanini is looking good, Juliana
