London Fog

New York has been feeling a little like London for the past two days so it makes one's fancy turn to tweed.  Of course, this is RARE vintage in New York so we're not talking about the Queen's Balmoral tweeds but tweed with a little leather thrown in by Pierre Cardin.  It is in a beautiful shade of forest green with accents of bright blue, orange, yellow and red.  Mr. Cardin could not resist adding on leather futuristic arrows on the snaps that close the jacket.

It has a bit of a cape like feel as the sleeves are open underneath the arm and flare out at end.  Pierre Cardin called them fantasy sleeves.  How beautiful would this look with a pencil skirt or even a pair of jeans.  Tea and crumpets anyone with their Pierre Cardin tweed?!
