I have noticed that since taking over as head designer for Hermes, Christophe Lemaire (whose work I really love. Hermes is a good fit for him) seems to favor a romantic memory of Paul Poiret with softly draped chemises, folkloric and Wiener Werkstatte prints. Even a nod to Denise Poiret's famous fancy dress costume she wore to Poiret's 'Thousand and Second Night' party.
