Chanel Couture: Fit For A Queen

Queen Elizabeth I of England loved a good pearl.  It seems that in all of the plentiful portraits of her - she was the first Queen to understand controlling her image and all of its PR advantages, she is almost never without a huge pearl or pearls in her hair.  Pearls represented not only wealth but purity and virginity.

The Virgin Queen as portrayed by the great Cate Blanchett festooned with pearls:

Fit for a fabulous Queen are these freaking amazing fantastic faux pearl hairpins by the fanciful Karl Lagerfeld for the famous and fantastic house of Chanel.  (And did I forget to mention that they are couture?!) Fashionably speaking, they are feminine, festive and fittingly flirtatious.  Fancy a flagrantly fun and faux pearl hair pin by the flawless Karl Lagerfeld?  F*%k Yes!!  Did I leave any other "f" words out to describe these fabulous and faux large scale hair pins by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel couture?

Kingdom not included - but totally optional!
