Open any fashion magazine, take a look at the Sartorialist or go out for a drink in Manhattan and you will see fashionable girls carrying a clutch. You will also see a nice dose of sequins in any of the above.
We think this Yves Saint Laurent clutch from the early 1980s would look incredible with a rock vixen ensemble or in one of our favorite looks: a few sequins dresses up any outfit we happen to have on when we run out the door in the evening. We also confess to loving sequins during the day when the weather is particularly gloomy. So if you happen to see someone sashaying down 57th Street in a rose colored, fully sequined Louis Vuitton jacket, you will definitely be able to follow her into RARE vintage!
