Halston: Day and Night. 1970s. A Single Owner Collection.

"Halston and his clothes exactly capture the mood of New York in the seventies.  Hard-working.  Cool.  Practical but luxurious." New York magazine 1972

Like any girl buying vintage clothing, you have 'moments'.  Maybe one moment you are channeling Grace Kelly in To Catch a Thief, another is Elizabeth Taylor in a slip and a mink, sometimes it is Romy Schneider in 60s Chanel, Greta Garbo in a straw Valentina hat and another moment its Talitha Getty in Morocco.

But one moment all girls, who buy vintage, have is a Halston moment.

Marisa Berenson, Bianca Jagger, Studio 54.  An uber glamorous moment in time captured in Halston's silk jersey, bias cut silk chiffon, ultrasuede and accessorized with Elsa Peretti's sleek and sensuous silver belts, cuffs and flask pendants.

And maybe at this moment in time with a return to minimalism at Celine, Calvin Klein, Raf Simons... Halston, the original Master of minimalism, looks super on trend.

I am thrilled to announce that we are having an exceptional sale of  1970s Halston on 1st dibs.  So cue the Sister Sledge and get ready for your Halston moment.

I know my moment started here...
