Schiaparelli had pink, Valentino had red, Halston had forest green. Of course, Halston used black, tissue gold lamé (love the lamé!) but he also used a very beautiful and mysterious shade of forest green for evening dresses and in this amazing leather wrap coat.
This coat belonged to one of Halston's great clients. It is the essence of easy seventies American sportswear: just throw it on with a some camel colored high waist flared trousers or a pair of skinny jeans with Isabel Marant's pointy-toed mid-heel black suede pumps and you are ready to dash out the door looking amazing!
